This is Richland County CEO Member, Brayden Beard. As I wrap up my year in CEO, I want to take a moment to say thank you and reflect on what this program has meant to me. I’m incredibly grateful to our investors, board members, community supporters, and especially our facilitator, Sheri Gray, for guiding us through every challenge and success. A huge thank-you to my mentor, Connor Dixon, for your encouragement and insights throughout the year.

One of my favorite memories was the CEO Trade Show. It was amazing to see our hard work come to life and connect with the community in such a meaningful way. Through my individual business, Brayden’s Bright Minds Tutoring, I’ve gained confidence, communication skills, and a real sense of what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

What I’ll miss most about CEO is the atmosphere of motivation and creativity. It’s not often that you’re surrounded by such a driven, supportive group of students and mentors all working to improve themselves and each other. Every tour, speaker, and challenge taught me something new, and I’ll carry those lessons into every aspect of my future.

To the Class of 2026: Make the most of every tour, speaker, and opportunity. Push yourself outside your comfort zone—you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of. CEO has been an unforgettable experience, and I’m thankful to have been part of it.
