Rachel Shilling

About Me

Hello my name is Rachel Shilling. I am the daughter of Ben and Lisa R. Shilling. I was a part of the Edwards County School District until my eighth grade year then moved to the Richland County School District where I’m currently a junior in high school. Whenever I’m outside of school I spend my time trail riding horses, showing horses and goats, and spending time with my livestock. I am a part of the following clubs: Wayne County Saddle Club (placing 3rd in my age division),  American Boer Goat Association, Olney FFA(greenhand officer, greenhand degree and chapter degree), Richland County 4-H (with many awards in horses, goats, swine, poultry, and rabbits and Ridge Runners secretary). I am very excited about all the opportunities the CEO program offers. It’ll be an awesome experience to be meeting with several local business owners and building a positive relationship with them over this year. After my senior year I am planning to go to Olney Central College for cosmetology then going to University of Illinois or Oklahoma State University for their equine or veterinary program with the goals of having my own beauty shop and equine.
