This is Richland County CEO member Addison Fulk with Tuesday’s recap. Today, CEO toured Brown’s Furniture, where Brad Brown led the visit. Brad did an excellent job explaining his business and giving us an inside look at daily operations. We had the opportunity to see the wide variety of furniture offered, and he also shared insights into industry trends and suppliers. Additionally, Brad spoke about his future retirement plans and what his succession plan may look like once he retires, which gave us a valuable perspective on long-term business planning. We also learned about the history of the business and how it has evolved over time. Overall, this was a very educational and engaging tour, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an experienced business owner.
