This is Richland County CEO member Brody Thomas with this week’s recap. We kicked off the week with a read-around, discussing our weekly chapter, “I Say What I Say” by Craig Lindvahl from the book Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday. On Tuesday, we welcomed guest speakers Sherry and Gene Brauer, who spoke about volunteerism and shared valuable advice on how to become more involved in our community. On Wednesday, we toured Rinstrum/Southern Illinois Scale with Brad Fryburger, Darren Pearson, Mahesh, and Shameera. They explained how worldwide their company is and the different types of scales they manufacture. On Friday, I led our team-building activity called Cup Relay. Throughout the week, we also spent additional time preparing for our individual businesses. Overall, it was another very productive week for CEO.
