This is CEO member Addison Fulk with our weekly recap. We started off the week by taking our key concepts quiz. Following that, we read our weekly chapter, “The Toolbox of Life,” which was read by River Logan. On Tuesday, we toured Gratitude & Grace and Thrifty Home Medical, guided by Jennifer and Jason Glover. On Wednesday, we welcomed guest speaker Lori Uhl from Illinois Gas Company, who spoke to us about the importance of tracking finances and assisted us with managing the finances from our microbusiness.
Thursday’s agenda included a tour of Infiniti Strength & Performance with Wes and Madison Smith, where they shared their inspiring business journey and valuable insights about entrepreneurship. To wrap up the week, I had the pleasure of leading our team-building activity on Friday. This activity was called Mine Field. It involved four groups of two. One partner was blindfolded while the other guided them through a maze of cones without stepping on any—an excellent exercise in communication and trust. It was yet another productive and exciting week in CEO!
