This is Richland County CEO member, Madison Farmer, with this week’s recap! On Monday, I led the chapter “Riding the Rapids,” which was about how we can’t always control what happens, but we can control how we react and move forward through challenges. Tuesday was our mentor match, where each CEO student was paired with a mentor. We’ll meet with them throughout the year, build a relationship, and learn from their experiences. On Wednesday, we had our mentor match reveal and spent the rest of the day working on our Micro business. Thursday, we toured The Little and The Loft with Samantha Brazil. We learned how the businesses started, how they’ve grown, and what makes them unique. It was a great opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes of local businesses. We wrapped up Friday with Freshen Up Friday and Ryen’s team builder, “Everything Up,” which showed us how important it is for everyone to do their part. We ended the week by drawing the winners of our Micro business raffle tickets. Overall, it was a very productive and rewarding week filled with learning and teamwork, which will continue to help us grow throughout the CEO program.
