This is Richland County CEO member, Ryen Gray, with this week’s recap! On Monday, Miranda led the chapter, “Life Ain’t No Laser Beam,” which taught us that life doesn’t move in a straight line and that we have to overcome the turns and bumps along the way. On Tuesday, we toured Thrifty Home Medical and Gratitude & Grace, where owners Jennifer and Jason Glover shared how unique their businesses are to our town. After visiting with both, Jennifer and Jason, we realized that they are a huge asset to our community. On Wednesday and Thursday, we continued working on Phase 4 of our Micro Business. We wrapped up the week Friday with Madison’s team builder activity, “Effective Communication and Teamwork” which taught us that communication is key when working as a team. We topped off Friday by revisiting Gratitude & Grace for a little retail therapy. This week was also exciting because it was homecoming week, and we got to wear our dress-up outfits to CEO. Overall, the week felt a little chaotic, but the memories we made will stay with us forever.
