This is Richland County CEO member Blair Grove with this week’s recap! On Tuesday, we spent the day in the office and continued working on Phase 4 of our Micro Business projects. On Wednesday, we toured the Walmart Distribution Center learning more about how the facility operates and everything that happens behind the scenes. On Thursday, we visited MAC Plastics and learned more about their business and the work they do. We wrapped up the week with Freshen Up Friday helping clean the Chamber before participating in a team-building activity called “Blind Shape Challenge,” led by Miranda. The activity showed us the importance of clear communication when working with others. Since Monday was Labor Day, we didn’t meet to read our book, but we still had a great week in CEO filled with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow!
