This is Richland County CEO member Josie Ginder. We have just completed the book, Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday, written by Craig Lindvahl. My favorite chapter in this book is titled“People Magnets,” I enjoyed this chapter because it talks about the important lesson about having a positive attitude and treating others with kindness and respect. I liked how the chapter explained that people are naturally drawn to those who are encouraging, friendly, good listeners, and positive to be around. It made me realize that being a kind and caring person is very important, and making others feel valued and comfortable. As a high schooler, I think this lesson is very important because the way we treat classmates, teachers, friends, and even strangers can affect our relationships and daily lives. This chapter stood out to me because it gave real life advice that can help someone become a better friend and person, and it reminded me that even small acts of kindness and positivity can make a big impact on others.
