Hello all, this is Langston Richardson with my favorite chapter from Craig Lindvahl’s book, “Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday.” My favorite chapter from this book was “Take It All In.” This is the first chapter in the book and one of my my favorites because of how well it sets up the book. I believe this chapter holds one of the greatest lessons by claiming you need to realize and obtain all the knowledge around you. When you open your eyes to everything around you, you pick up so much to that can be of use to you. By using everything you learn, instead of picking and choosing, you grow your mind’s toolbox so much more and become ready for so many different situations. My favorite line in this chapter is, “look at your life as the incredible gift it is.” I think this provides a great way to try to take it all in because once you see the value in yourself, you can see the value in everything around you. By using this chapter’s lesson, from the founder of the CEO program, Craig Lindvahl, I will make it a goal to always take in as much of the knowledge around me as possible.
