CEO welcomed the legendary, Mike David, to the office who chose to participate in the FBLA dress-up day to support your favorite team. Mr. David recently became an Investor and proud supporter of the CEO program. He joined us in hopes of imparting bits of wisdom through his extensive background in the educational profession and Edward Jones business. He provided the students with countless aphorisms he has learned through his journey. He encouraged the students to continue to be dreamers and thinkers on their paths to success. He left the students with three mementos of his visit. He gave them a replica of a painting made by local artist, Mary Brown, of Olney’s Main Street in 1960 to remind them that with their help, Olney can continue to be a thriving community. He then gave them a copy of a signed John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success chart to remind them of what it takes to reach the top. Finally, he provided each of them the book, Acres of Diamonds by Russell Conwell. He told the students he wants to discuss the book over pizza, his treat, after they have finished reading it. He ended his session by complimenting the students and reminding them they are the best of the best and they have the potential to do great things. CEO is honored to have Mr. David as an Investor, Supporter, Advocate, Teacher, and Friend of the program.
